Safer Internet Day
The Safer Internet Day theme this year was ‘Together for a Better Internet’.
The internet is a wonderful place that offers so many opportunities for children and young people to learn, connect and play. As the internet is always changing, being able to keep up-to-date with your child’s internet and social media use can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially if you feel that your child may know more about technology than you do.
At Thorney Close Primary School, we endeavour to ensure that all of our children learn how to use new technologies safely, responsibly and respectfully, by having regular lessons and conversations about the age appropriate use of social media, computer games and various apps and websites.
