Year 2 visited Murton Equestrian Centre on the last week of half term. We got to groom, bath and ride the wonderful horses and ponies. We enjoyed mucking out the stables in our groups and cleaning up the fields. It was such a lovely, sunny day! We rode our horses into a country lane then we got to have a trot at the end, it felt really fast! We were all talented horse riders and learnt so much about these animals and how to care for them on this amazing school trip. We worked so hard all day, that almost everyone fell asleep on the way home!

This week Year 2 have had a special visitor. Bill Quay farm came to see us and brought a range of interesting animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chickens, stick insects and a crested gecko. We really enjoyed stroking and handling all of the animals and learning about their habitats.
