The Life Centre Visit - Spruce and Cedar Classes
Last term, we learned all about space, and now we have an exciting opportunity to bring that learning to life with a visit to the planetarium at the Life Centre in Newcastle!
🚌 Travel:
We’ll be travelling to the Life Centre by metro, after being dropped off by our school minibuses.
🕘 Time:
We’ll be leaving school promptly at 9am, so please make sure your child arrives on time to avoid missing the trip. We aim to return by the end of the school day (depending on traffic and metro schedules). Any changes will be communicated via Class Dojo.
💷 Cost:
This trip is fully funded – no payment is needed.
👕 Clothing:
Children must wear full school uniform as other schools will also be attending.
🥪 Lunch:
All children will need a healthy packed lunch and a drink.
If your child is entitled to free school meals, a lunch will be provided by school. All other children should bring their own.
✅ Consent:
Please log in to your Arbor account and go to ‘Trips’ under the ‘Activities’ heading. Click on the trip and select ‘Sign Up’ to give consent.
🙋♀️ Parent Volunteers – Expression of Interest:
We’re looking for a few parent volunteers to help us on the day of the trip.
If you’d like to express your interest in being a parent volunteer, please send me a message on Class Dojo.
We’ll confirm places once we know how many helpers we need – thank you so much for offering your time and support!
If you have any questions, just drop me a message here on Dojo 😊
