The children have been practising different stitching techniques this week and thoroughly enjoyed themselves while doing so!
We arrived at Broom House Farm! We spotted some goats and had a wonderful afternoon in the forest!
The children have been looking at unit fractions and have been representing unit fractions by building them using cubes. They have all worked extremely hard!
The children have been spending some time chopping up their vegetables ready to taste their very own vegetable soup this afternoon! They really enjoyed themselves.
The children have really enjoyed some tennis in the sun during their PE lesson this afternoon. What lovely weather!

We've had a great start to our trip at the farm! We have searched for conkers and had a trip to the cow field.
In our Computing lesson, we transformed into a computer network! We learned about the various components and the roles each device plays. We took on the roles of the server, network switch, Wi-Fi access points, teacher computers, laptops, Chromebooks, and iPads. We had a great time!
It’s been another wonderful afternoon in music with Les! The children have been practicing how to play the keyboard with correct hand positioning.
The new keyboards have arrived at school! During their music lesson, the children had the opportunity to try them out and play the music they composed.
We took advantage of the lovely weather and headed outside for PE, where we practiced our throwing and catching skills!
The children participated in a debate during English, based on our class text. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience and made some excellent points!
In Music, have been looking at tempo of music and some of the children had the chance to perform in front of the class!
In our History lesson we discussed the term chronology. We put ourselves in chronological order from the oldest to the youngest and then worked in small groups to order key events across the three periods of the Stone Age!
