Investigating How Plants Transport Water
In our science topic this term, we have been learning about plants. Today we explored how water travels through a plant.
The children set up an experiment by placing a white flower in water with food colouring to see how the stem transports water. We’ll be observing our flowers closely over the next couple of weeks to see what happens!

Netball
Fir Class have thoroughly enjoyed their PE lesson this week. They focused on developing their netball passing techniques and improving their spatial awareness.

Egyptian flatbread
The children have been learning all about ancient Egypt this term and have also been reading a book in English related to ancient Egypt. This morning, we have been making Egyptian flatbread from scratch and they have done an amazing job! 🫓

Geography
In Geography this term, we’re diving into the wonders of the UK! The children kicked off the topic by creating their own maps, carefully labelling the countries and their capital cities. Then, they eagerly set off on a fact-finding adventure to discover fascinating things about the UK!
Dodgeball
In PE, we enjoyed lots of fun warm-up games before finishing with an exciting and competitive game of dodgeball!
