We’re delighted to share some exciting news with our school community – our brand-new, state-of-the-art school building is currently being built!
This is a really exciting time for our pupils, parents, staff and the wider community, and we’re keen to keep everyone informed as the building takes shape. This page will be your go-to place for regular updates, photos and news throughout the construction process.
We believe in keeping our community involved, so we’ll be sharing key milestones along the way, celebrating progress and letting you know what’s happening behind the scenes. It’s wonderful to be able to take you with us on this journey as we create a modern, welcoming space designed to support learning, creativity and innovation.

Thursday 13 June 2024 Application Approved At a meeting on June 10th, Sunderland City Council's Planning and Highways Committee approved an application for the construction of our new school build on the site of the former Sunningdale Primary School.

Thursday 30 November 2023 New school build, an invite to a consultation with the design team Embarking on a visit to the site of our new school build was an awe-inspiring experience for the Senior Leadership Team who had their first opportunity to witness the transformation of the recently flattened and cleared area.
