Thursday 20 June 2024 London 2024 Residential - Day Two Our second day of our residential trip was just as eventful as the first. We visited the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum, where we had an amazing time exploring the Wonderlab. We enjoyed a delicious pizza in Trafalgar Square before heading to Shaftesbury Theatre to watch a performance of Mrs. Doubtfire.

Wednesday 19 June 2024 London 2024 Residential - Day One Our three-day school residential in London began with an early start, departing from school at 6am. The children were excited as we boarded the coach, greeted by our lovely driver who set the tone with a fantastic playlist of 'cheesy classics' that had both children and staff singing along. Our journey was broken up by a delightful lunch stop near Watford, where everyone stretched their legs and refueled. By 1pm, we arrived in London, ready to embark on our adventure.

Tuesday 11 June 2024 Eden Colliery Cup Huge congratulations to our Y5/6 football team as they came runners up in the Eden Colliery cup at Hill View. The team were excellent- winning three out of four matches and playing some great football. Well done all!

Tuesday 4 June 2024 Swimming Success The Year 6 swimming team had a fabulous morning competing in the local swimming gala. The team showed great teamwork and determination, resulting in an impressive display of swimming skills.

Thursday 9 May 2024 Grey to Green We have received funding from the Royal Horticultural Society to purchase plants for transforming our school from grey to green, as part of a Department for Education initiative.

Tuesday 23 April 2024 Be in to Win! We are trying to improve attendance rates over summer term by organising 2 Attendance Prize Draws. One will be drawn for May half term and one for July end of year.

Friday 19 April 2024 Super Start to Summer Term What an amazing first week back it has been. As you can see from the quality of the work in this video, the children have been trying their best in all areas of learning. It was especially pleasing to see the youngest children enjoying the sunshine.

Tuesday 12 March 2024 World Book Day March 2024 World Book Day/Week was amazing! The children dressed up as their favorite book characters. Thank you to the parents who joined the craft sessions. Your support made the day extra special and showed the importance of reading and community. It was a memorable celebration of books and creativity for everyone involved! Enjoy the photo's below!
