For more than 75 years, Thorney Close Primary School has been at the heart of our community. Since opening in 1949, it has been a place where lifelong friendships were made, memories were created, and generations of families have learned and grown together.

As we prepare to move into our brand-new building and become Silver Birch Primary School in November 2026, we'd love for you to join us in celebrating the incredible history and legacy of Thorney Close Primary School.

We warmly invite all former pupils, staff, parents, carers, governors, and members of our local community to enjoy an afternoon of tea, cake, conversation, and cherished memories as we celebrate the past and look forward to an exciting future.
