Attendance News 9.1.26
We have enjoyed a lovely first four days back at school, despite the challenging weather.
All children who were in school today have been given their attendance information.
Since September, the class with the highest attendance is Willow Class, closely followed by Poplar Class.
The majority of pupils have good attendance. Even if your child is currently classed as a persistent absentee (attendance below 90%), this can still improve over the next two terms if no further days are missed. Please take time to check your child’s attendance record on Arbor.
A small number of children are classed as severe absentees (attendance below 50%). In these cases, an attendance officer will be in contact, as attendance needs to improve significantly. Poor attendance may result in fines, as all children have the right to a regular education.
