"Where Learning Blossoms..."

Weekly School Catch-Up - 3.10.25

It’s been another busy and exciting week in school!

The Year 6 children had a brilliant time visiting Eden Camp, learning all about history in a fun and hands-on way. Oak Class enjoyed their trip to Roker Pier, exploring the seaside and discovering more about the pier. Meanwhile, Larch Class took part in a fantastic sports day at the Beacon of Light showing great teamwork, skills and energy!

As the seasons begin to change and autumn arrives, some of the younger children have been exploring the school grounds. Sycamore Class used the fallen leaves in their learning — they spotted trees changing colour, collected leaves in lots of beautiful shades, and had great fun crunching through them! Our youngest children in school, Seedlings Class, visited the sensory garden, where some children tasted fruits that had fallen from the trees.

A big well done to the wonderful Stars of the Week, who were celebrated in assembly today for their brilliant effort and attitude! A very special congratulations to Miss Syeda, who has passed her Teacher of the Deaf qualification after two years of study.
