We worked hard on writing a debate titled 'Are circuses cruel?' and came up with compelling arguments both for and against.
In Music, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to try out our new keyboards. We also spent time identifying the various instruments heard in different songs.
The weather wasn’t on our side, so we had to stay indoors for PE. However, we turned it into a positive by practicing our throwing skills through fun teamwork games in the hall. Despite the rain, we made the most of it and had a fantastic lesson!
In English, we have been looking at the features of persuasive letters and had a go at identifying some. We have then began planning our own persuasive letter. We are going to be convincing dad from the Butterfly Lion why they should keep the lion cub.
In Science, we’ve been working on creating circuits. We discussed the components needed to build a circuit and then tried making our own to light up a bulb and sound a buzzer.
We've had a wonderful afternoon outdoors in the sunshine for PE. We played various teamwork games with Craig, form The Foundation of Light, and everyone put in their best effort
In music class, we discussed the different families of instruments, then learned a song about the String and Brass families.
As part of our History topic on the Romans, we arranged various events from the Roman era in chronological order. Afterward, we selected the events we believed were the most significant.
